I am an alcoholic, in Oakland, California. Wherever possible, I try to include links and information that is substance-agnostic and available nationally or internationally. Drugs other than alcohol are a big part of the story for many people, and there are communities, meetings and free programs and literature for everyone.
SoberOakland is a small, personal site, and as such will include or link to things that are local to me and/or have a subjective value. I can’t include everything or please everyone! (I’m just one person) 🙂
